CHAPTER 3: Early Success
Tiffany's initial success was based on her reputation as "The Mall Girl." George Tobin, her manager/producer, created a video for "I Think We're Alone Now" from footage he shot during the mall tour.
Tiff began making TV appearances on shows like "The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson," "American Bandstand," and "Solid Gold." She also performed at high schools across the country with labelmates "The Jets" on their School Spirit tour.
Tiffany turned sweet sixteen on October 2nd, 1987.
"I Think We're Alone Now" hit number one on November 7.
