The Tiffany Vault
CHAPTER 12: Tiff Grows Up
In late 1989, Tiffany was desperate for a new, hipper sound and a new image. She put an end to the album that her manager wanted to release, spent most of her fortune buying out her contract with him. Her new manager was Dick Scott (who also managed New Kids).
Around this time, the backlash against Tiffany's relationship with Jon Knight and the New Kids became scary - life threatening at times.
In July, Jetsons: The Movie was released featuring Tiffany as the voice of Judy, and on the soundtrack. This was all stuff Tiff had recorded back in Spring 1989.
As Tiff promoted the movie, she took every opportunity to mention that her next album would be "a big change."
